The fifth is the establishment of open distribution networks rather than the closed and monopolistic distribution of today. This will be by groups of manufacturers, producers and traders going with their goods and wares to open markets further afield, as opposed to plugging into today's monopolistic distribution channels which are very largely controlled by supermarkets and other brand-name chainstores.
This list is not exhaustive but covers some of the indispensable aspects of genuine open and fair trade. However, the next issue, although not strictly speaking a trade issue, is the one that underpins much of the other matters we outline here. It is the endowments.
